Our adult-only and boutique Inn (16+) is located in the heart of enchanted Cambutal beach (Playa Cambutal), just a five-minute walk to the beach, balance between mountain and sea, hidden amongst the jungle canopy. Our space is designed to flow naturally through indoor and outdoor areas to give a relaxed sense of curiosity and openness.
The architecture of the villa strives to capture the feeling of a traditional colonial layout in a modern design with accents reminiscent of South East Asia. The villa has five boutique hotel rooms with free Wifi, AC, en-suite bathrooms, king-size beds. All rooms enjoy private terraces and private entries with stunning views of the reef, ocean, mountains and gardens. The ground floor has an open-space living / dining area and an outdoor lounge nestled into the front gardens.
Our botanical garden which grows among the shade of native trees has a series of paths from which guests can explore the culinary, medicinal, and decorative assortment of plants
HOW TO GET HERE FROM PANAMA CITY
For budget travelers, the most cost-effective transportation is by bus, taking around 8 hours from Panama City's Albrook Station. The recommended bus, priced at $10, departs at 8:00 am to Las Tablas. Upon arrival at Las Tablas station, take a taxi $2 to Terminal Las Tablas - Pedasi, where a mini-bus $5 leaves at 2:00 pm for Cambutal. You would arrive just below The Hill around 4:30 pm.
An alternative option is to catch the early bus at 7:00 am directly to Tonosi. You can then take a taxi for approximately $18 to reach Cambutal.
Sharing car costs with friends or family offers flexibility and independence in Cambutal. Panama City offers a variety of car rental services and taxis are also available. We can provide a reliable taxi contact to pick you up from the airport or your hotel in the city, with costs ranging from $250 to $340 per taxi.
The approximate travel time is 6 hours, making it cost effective if shared by four people. Use Waze to drive in a safe, correct and comfortable way.
